  1. They could have made people take free gun classes in order to be able to open carry, and also make them have to tell cops that they have a gun in their car if they get pulled over,so fricking stupid

Henry D. McMaster went to the same High School as I did, I’m a bit older so we never shared a year but good golly Mr. Governor, HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?
Letting every person Loonie Bird or sane just grab a widowmaker and tuck it in a front pocket is RIDICULOUS.
Where was your thought process in this. Hey the guys want what the guys want?

  3. The facts from the other 28 states that have open carry show that crime and homicide will likely decrease with open carry.

  4. No it won’t. Look at the data.

It is a constitutional carry law, allowing the permitless open or concealed carry of a concealable firearm by any South Carolina citizen who is legally permitted to carry or possess a firearm. The last open carry law was passed in 2021 to allow citizens with a concealed weapon permit to openly carry a concealable firearm.

  6. Leftist nonsense inferring a Wild West shootout. Criminals will think twice before committing crimes knowing more people will be armed.

  7. I don’t understand his logic unless he thinks that people in SC is more reckless than the other almost 30 states that have the same law. It’s a proven fact that states who have constitutional carry, the crime decreases immensely.. In the past, criminals would think they were the only one with a weapon, now then have to find out the hard way, that they’re not.
